The Chart tab is where you build a song's chord chart.
- Paste your content: Copy/paste a chord chart from the web or your own file. When you paste text, the chart importer strips away extra characters and attempts to leave you with a clean chart. The app detects the title, artist, BPM, key, etc., as well as the actual sections, chords, and lyrics.
- Cleanup: The Trash icon lets you quickly get rid of extra formatting from the original doc.
- Edit your chart: Edit just like a normal text editor to change the body of the chart.
- Change key, capo: Experiment with changing the key and capo position of the song at any time.
- Add the chart to the timeline: Create a timeline view of your chart based on its sections, using the Create Timeline button.
- Add additional metadata: Click the button to automatically pull metadata from MusicBrainz. It doesn't always get high-quality album covers, but sometimes it works. You can also paste your own album-art images.
Note: Metadata like Title and Artist can be added or edited in the left-panel metadata fields.
- Customize: Select the metadata you want to include in the chart using the options in the left panel.
- Exporting/Printing: Go old school and Use File > Export to save your chart as either a docx or pdf file to save, share, and print.
